Wyndfall Cyder is a home-grown Minnesota cidery located in the bluffs of southeastern Minnesota. I had the opportunity to brand them from scratch, starting with moodboards. The client wanted a ‘heritage-organic’ feel, citing American environmental authors like Thoreau, the tradition of Wassailing, plus elements such as tweed and a hint of British influence.
From there, I created logo sketches in a hand-drawn treatment.
The brand continued to expand into packaging, sell sheets and keg collars. I used color and iconography to differentiate the three flavors; additional labels were created for limited editions and small batches.
